The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) provides subsidized, service-based training for income-eligible persons 55 or older to help them re-enter the workforce and earn a paycheck.

Who is eligible?

  • Must be 55+ years old
  • Must be unemployed
  • Must meet income standards set by Department of Labor

Services for Eligible Older Workers

  • Community Services—Placement at a variety of non-profit and public facilities including day-care centers, senior centers, schools and hospitals
